People have been facing a lot trouble ever since a ban on Qingqi rickshaws was imposed a few weeks ago. It seems the transport mafia is not willing to add more buses to the existing numbers, and is content with the profits it is earning.
The provincial government has long forgot its responsibly of providing decent transport to the people of Karachi. One can see a large number of people waiting for buses that are poorly maintained. Moreover, almost all footpaths in the city have either vanished or have been occupied by car showrooms and vendors. If one is willing to walk his or her way to home it is impossible to do so on busy, congested roads. On whose door should we knock to get this problem solved?
