This refers to the editorial, ‘Appeal to the UN’ (September 29). The editorial is no doubt a superb piece of analysis, highlighting our best endeavours to reactivate and mobilise the core issues with India at the United Nations.
The prime minister’s speech at the world’s highest forum was well balanced and to the point and he put our case in an impressive manner. All outstanding issues, especially the core issue of Kashmir, need to be kept alive at each forum. For this purpose, as pointed out in the editorial, our embassies/missions should play an active role to persuade other member nations in favour our view.
