It seems that the ICC and the ‘Big Three’ are all up against our cricket team. The recent reporting of Bilal Asif to the ICC for suspect bowling action indicates that it is part of a plan to pull down Pakistan cricket.
Some people do not want to see cricket in Pakistan, and for Pakistani players occupy top ranks. It was not just Bilal Asif. Before him Saeed Ajmal and Muhammad Hafeez were also referred to the ICC on similar charges. Both of them were top ranked bowlers. The ICC should not introduce new rules every other day because it is hurting players as well as the game of cricket.

Another Pakistani off spinner, Bilal Asif, has been reported to the ICC for suspect bowling action. This is not the first time. Saeed Ajmal was reported and banned by the ICC; Hafeez was banned for a year and now he cannot bowl with the same length. And although Ajmal came back with the correct bowling action, he was not as effective as before. In other words, Team Pakistan was deprived of world-class spinners.
Why has the ICC noticed Bilal’s bowling action at a time when he performed well and took five wickets in the third ODI? He was in the squad even in the first and second ODIs but no questions were raised over his bowling action then. One bets nobody would have taken notice of Bilal’s bowling action if he had not performed well in the third ODI. The PCB seems to have no power and confidence to even talk about this issue.
