Having lost my matriculation certificate as well as the mark-sheet I applied for their duplicate copies at the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad (FBISE) a fortnight ago. When I received the documents, I found the certificate and mark-sheet bearing identical registration and roll number but carrying different locations.
According to the matriculation certificate, I had done my matriculation from Jeddah (which is correct) and according to the mark-sheet, I passed the matriculation examination from Libya and that too from the Pakistan Embassy School, though I was a private candidate. When I contacted the person concerned, he made me laugh by saying that perhaps I was registered in Libya but appeared from Jeddah. It was more amusing because I have never been to Libya. If this is the level of intelligence of those responsible to guide students through administrative procedures concerning their academic life then one can imagine the level of mismanagement in our other departments. The FBISE should look into the matter and resolve my issue.
