This refers to the editorial, ‘The battle of Karachi’ (August 29). Why is there so much hue and cry over the arrest of Dr Asim Hussain and on the arrest warrants of Yusuf Raza Gilani and Amin Fahim? Let the law takes its course. If they are innocent, they will be set free.
There is a close nexus between politics, crime and corruption. Our political elite should not shy away from accountability which is the ardent demand of people. Politicians in our country wear the cloak of democracy while in reality they are interested in enriching themselves and have no interest in the welfare of the masses.
