This refers to the article, ‘Was Dinanagar a false flag’ (July 30) by Waqar K Kauravi. Internally, India is beset with simmering discontent and escalating unrest. Sikhs have revived their independence movement after 31 years and want a buffer state between Pakistan and India. Kashmiris have reignited their freedom struggle and both Sikhs and Kashmiri leaders are supporting each other. There is the Naxalite-Moist insurgency in its northeast while rebels in Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram have stepped up their separatist activities.
Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had threatened Pakistan that India will fight terrorism with terrorism. This was an obvious reference to India’s involvement in destabilising Pakistan, specifically Karachi and Balochistan. India has, so far, been belligerent and has hegemonic ambitions in the region. It will explore every opportunity to malign us internationally and use anti-state elements in our country to create trouble.
