Students and professionals coming to the federal capital from less developed areas of the country face great difficulties in finding reasonable and respectful accommodation. Because of the absence of any kind of government checks, private hostels have been demanding a high rent without even offering proper utilities in return. This sector has attained a monopolistic attitude.
As the number of students and other professionals coming to stay in the federal capital is increasing there is a need for the government to play its role and build housing facilities for them. The authorities concerned are requested to look into the matter.
