Instead of following up the progress on the most important issue, ie, the NAP (National Action Plan) or many more pressing issues that needs serious attention, headlines are more about Reham Khan’s alleged fake degree and supermodel Ayyan Ali’s bail. The most bizarre part is the background music with which our media put up their reports.
It looks as if the National Action Plan has become a ‘No Action Plan’ because with the passage of time both the government as well as the media that is supposed to act as a watchdog forget about the NAP. Like the government, our media should also need to set their priorities right.
