The fake degree scandal is more serious than the rigging allegation in the general elections because the country has earned a bad name in the entire world. How on earth can any organisation pay salaries in millions to its employees for months without having started its operation? This factor alone is sufficient evidence to establish that there is something wrong somewhere. This being a unique case, it needs a thorough investigation about its funding.
The fact is that this case has brought us shame and it will take years to revive our lost prestige. No one is above law, especially when the country’s integrity is at stake.
