Change thyself

It is unfortunate that we had a leader like Muhammad Ali Jinnah and still we are an intolerant nation. All those high, noble and elevated statements and sayings of Quaid-e-Azam are displayed on television and newspapers everyday and we proudly use the words of the Quaid in our advises and speeches. But we never make any efforts to implement them.
Quaid-e-Azam had codified a perfect picture in responsibility, courage, honesty, devotion to duty, faith and integrity. After his death we got the wrong people at the helm of our affairs. Almost every politician wants to establish democratic, constitutional rule in our country. But do we have any law-abiding democrats? Self-serving claims can never help democracy prosper and neither can it bring our country on to the road to prosperity, glory and success. It is time we brought a change in ourselves first.
