It is good to watch the safe landing of Pakistanis from the war-torn Yemen. It is also reported that a Pakistan Navy ship has picked up more Pakistanis from the port of Aden while the government is also seeking help from China to evacuate the remaining Pakistanis. And according to the spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority, the flight operations will be continued until all Pakistanis are evacuated from Yemen.
The efforts of the government and the Foreign Office in this regard are commendable. The Foreign Office has established a crisis management cell to coordinate arrangements for evacuation and the prime minister has personally been monitoring the process and has directed officials to ensure the safe return of every Pakistani national. The CAA, the Foreign Office and the government deserve appreciation for the successful completion of the first phase of evacuation.
