The reported kidnapping of seven coal-miners in Balochistan is a big question mark on the state of law and order situation in the province. Everybody admits that Balochistan lags behind in development from the rest of the country. But this does not absolve the government of its responsibilities to provide security to the poor workers.
The Balochistan government is requested to provide security to the people working at different coal-mines and also take effective steps for the release of kidnapped miners. Special attention is needed on law and order by both by the governor and CM of Balochistan if they are really interested in the development of the province.
