Cases against Zardari were based on truth, claims Saif

ISLAMABAD: National Accountably Bureau (NAB) former chairman Saifur Rehman has said during his tenure, cases registered against former president Asif Ali Zardari were based on truth and honesty. The main purpose of the cases was to save the system from plunderers and not to victimise any special person. He said after the Pakistan Muslim League-N government was toppled in the past, his family was maltreated due to which his father died. He said he had no plans to return to Pakistan or take part in politics of the country. He was talking to the media on Friday.
