LAHORE
The Punjab government has issued a notification of promotion, transfer and posting of officers on Monday.
According to the notification eight officers have been promoted to BS-19. Additional Secretary Information Mohammed Iqbal Shahid has been promoted to BS-19 and upon promotion he has been transferred and his services have been placed at the disposal of the federal government for further posting. Moreover DCO Rajanpur Zahoor Hussain, DCO Mandi Bahuddin Muzaffar Khan, Additional Secretary P&D Mudassar Riaz, Deputy Secretary Finance Musarrat Jabeen, Additional Secretary Local Government Moazzam Abbas Sapra, DCO Kasur Salman Ghani and DCO Okara Suqrat Aman Rana have been promoted to BS-19 and after having promotion they have been directed to continue work on their existing positions till further order.
Meanwhile Deputy Secretary Literacy Abdul Rauf has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary Agriculture, Deputy Secretary Literacy Munir Ahmed Shahid as Deputy Secretary Schools Education and Project Director Education for All Programme Sajid Ahmed as Deputy Secretary Literacy. Section Officer (SO) P&D Mohammed Qasim has been transferred and posted as SO Finance, Tariq Riaz (officer on special duty) as SO Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department and Ms. Shafqat Salim (officer on special duty) as SO I&C Wing (S&GAD).
