Two arrested facilitators of BKU attack hail from Mardan
CHARSADDA: Two facilitators of the attack on the Bacha Khan University (BKU) were identified as a father and son residing in Mardan district, sources said.The sources said that Akbar Ali and his son, Ibrahim, were arrested from their house in Bochay Killay on the Mardan-Charsadda Road. They had been residing in the area for the last four years. Earlier, the family was living in Bakhshali and Naway Killay villages in Mardan district. Both had worked as labourers during the construction of the Army flats in Westridge, Rawalpindi, for the Military Engineering Service. Security forces raided their house on Friday and arrested Ibrahim. On the information provided by Ibrahim, the forces arrested his father Akbar Ali from the Bakhshali Pandero village. Akbar Ali has six sons and two daughters.The sources said that Akbar Ali had also worked in Afghanistan as a mechanic and had frequently visited the neighbouring country.
