Rulers accused of destabilising country
From Our Correspondent
KASUR: All Pakistan Bhatta Owner Association leader Mehr Abdul Haq Monday accused the government of destabilising the country by adopting wrong policies.
Talking to reports, Mehr said kiln owners and workers were observing strike for the last three days against unjust policies of the government, which it has framed under the name of child labour. He accused NGOs of working against the country and misguiding the rulers. He said kiln owners were ready to impart education to children of workers but some workers were not cooperating with them and cases were being registered against the owners. He said cases should be registered against parents not kiln owners. Mehr said police crackdown on kilns would result in unemployment in the country in a large scale. He also warned of protest if corrective measures were not taken in connection with kiln owners persecution.
