Three suspects held near Nadra office in Nowshera
NOWSHERA: The police on Monday arrested three suspected persons, two Afghan nationals among them, near the office of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), an official said.
Station House Officer (SHO), Syed Ismail Shah, told reporters, that the police were tipped off about the presence of suspected persons near the Nadra office. He said an operation was launched and three suspected persons arrested.
He identified the arrested suspects as Jehanzeb, a resident of Landikotal in Khyber Agency, and two Afghan nationals, Ahmadullah and Zaibullah. The official said an Afghan SIM was also recovered from Jehanzeb. He said the Afghan nationals had been set free after they were found innocent in the preliminary investigation while Jehanzeb was handed over to the joint investigation team for further interrogation.
