Zainab Abbas, a student of IGCSE III represented Roots International Schools in the youth camp. There were three divisions of the camp; MINT, Schulezeitung and Comic. All the renowned instructors and trainers, Ms. Elking and Evelyn Welding guided students in Schulezeitung.
Students actively took part in different events and activities which were a part of the camp. They took pride in performing different cultural dances from all the regions of Pakistan. The camp began on 4 January and then the students had interesting discussions about their favourite German words. Students discussed themes the next day, such as Zukunft (future), Traume (dreams), and young people's dreams. The theme chosen for expression of thoughts was “Freedom, dreams, going against the norm, not running for doctor/engineer”.
