Salim Saifullah urges govt to pass oil price reduction benefits on to masses
LAKKI MARWAT: A former federal minister Salim Saifullah Khan has asked the government to pass on the benefits of reduction in prices of oil to masses.
“The prices of oil products have significantly reduced in the international market and the government should pass on this benefit to the people,” he told journalists after inaugurating work on a road widening project in Lakki city on Sunday.
District Nazim Ishfaq Ahmad Khan Meenakhel, a former MNA Ghulamuddin Khan, district councillors Shafqatullah Khan, Ghafoor Khan and officials of Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority were also present on the occasion.
Salim Saifullah said that dualisation of the road project would add to the beautification of urban locality. “The widening of road will also help overcome traffic mess on the main Bannu-Mianwali artery connecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Punjab,” he went on to add.He also addressed separate public meetings in Umarabad and Farooqabad localities of Lakki city.
