Panic after wrong call regarding firing in college

MULTAN: Panic created in the town after police and Rescue 1122 received calls about firing in the Girls Degree College at Mumtazabad.
Senior rescue official Abdul Jabbar told The News that after receiving the phone call, they sent their team to the college but there was nothing. No bullets were found there, except student Romana with scratches and injury marks on her wrists, he added. He was of the view that the girl was a psychological patient.
Mumtazabad SHO Imran Arif said that they also received a wireless call regarding firing in the college. Following the information, CPO Azhar Ikram and others officers reached the spot and started investigation, but found no evidence of firing. The SHO, however, said that they found the girl with injury marks, which were of a blade. She was shifted to the Nishtar Hospital.
