514 cases in Islamabad in 2015, NA told
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Human Rights received a total of 514 cases of human rights violations in Islamabad including 68 cases of rape and gang rape during the year 2015.
The National Assembly was informed in a written reply that the federal capital also witnessed 46 cases of domestic violence, 20 cases of honour killings and crimes and 23 incidents of child abuse which were reported to the Ministry of Human Rights. Aisha Syed, member of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), through a question wanted to know details the human rights violations in the federal capital.
