KP IGP inspects security arrangements during CB elections

PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari on Sunday visited polling stations during the Cantonment Board elections to inspect security situation.
A spokesman for KP Police said that the top cop was also accompanied by CCPO Abbas Ahsan and other officials. The police chief spoke to the polling staff at the stations and inquired about the polling activities and security arrangements.
During a media briefing on the occasion, Ansari said that the police have made adequate security arrangements for the elections and the cops were also coordinating with other law-enforcement agencies for the purpose.
