‘Rs25b property reclaimed in 3 years’
LAHORE:The Overseas Pakistanis Commission solved 10,100 cases and retrieved the property worth Rs25billion in the three years of PTI government.
Overseas Pakistanis are an asset to the country who have proven their love for the country by sending a huge sum of foreign exchange even in the testing times of corona pandemic, said OPC Vice-Chairperson Waseem Akhtar while talking to a delegation of senior members of PTI led by Hassan Khan Niazi in his office on Friday.
He said the overseas Pakistanis like all other Pakistanis were close to the heart of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The OPC vice-chairperson said the Punjab Assembly had recently passed OPC Act 2021 which had strengthened the commission more. The victory of the PTI in the recent elections in Azad Kashmir and by-election in Sialkot have proved that the nation is with Imran Khan, he said. The delegation included Ali Zia Niazi, Punjab West Region President Ali Anwer, Insaf Youth Wing Faisalabad President Mian Saqib Altaf and Chief Minister Punjab Media Team Deputy Convener Ali Raza. The delegation praised the performance of the OPC.
