Mayo Hospital signs MoU

LAHORE:An agreement has been signed between Mayo Hospital, Lahore and ChildLife Foundation to modernise the Pediatric Medical Emergency Ward. With a capacity of more than 2,800 beds, Mayo Hospital is the largest hospital of Pakistan. Pakistan has one of the highest child mortality rates. Better health facilities especially improvement in emergency care can significantly reduce preventable deaths. The agreement was signed by Dr Mahmood Shaukat, Chairman Board of Governors - Mayo Hospital and Dr Ahson Rabbani, CEO of ChildLife Foundation. The Dean of KE Medical College (KEMC), Medical Superintendent of Mayo Hospital, Chairman of Pediatric Department and Professor of Pediatric Department were present at the occasion.
