Tourism plan discussed

LAHORE:Secretary Tourism and Archaeology Department (TAD) Captain (r) Mushtaq Ahmad on Thursday chaired a preparatory meeting for Destination Investment and Management Plans (DIMPs) with a Spanish delegation. The foreign delegation from HIDRIA, a Spanish business association, MD TDCP Tanveer Jabbar, Mr Shahid Butt, Dr Kiran Farhan, Syed Usman (PTEGP), Ms Imrana Tiwana and other officials also attended the meeting. During the meeting, a wide range of issues came under discussion. The Tourism Department discussed baseline surveys for priority tourism destinations, tourism investment plan, destination management plan, visitor management plan, ground realities and geographical scope with the Spanish delegation.
