LAHORE: The New Zealand Cricket Board, which has shown its intent to send its team to Pakistan, will be first sending its security team Pakistan to review the arrangements.
An official of the PCB informed ‘The News’ that the New Zealand cricket team is scheduled to play a whiteball series in Pakistan in September and October.
In this regard, New Zealand has hired Rigg Dixon, a security expert, who will visit Pakistan next month.
Sources said that Dixon would visit Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.
There are three T20Is and three ODIs between Pakistan and New Zealand, but the PCB has offered two additional T20 matches in preparation for the World Cup.
New Zealand last visited Pakistan in 2003.
