ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has decided to maintain the policy rate at 7 percent for the next two months, the central bank’s governor Dr Reza Baqir announced on Tuesday.
“At its meeting on 27th July 2021, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) decided to maintain the policy rate at 7 percent,” the SBP said, in a statement issued after the committee’s meeting.
