Triple murder accused yet to be nabbed

Rawalpindi: The Shams Colony Police have not yet arrested the suspect who gunned down his real brother, sister-in-law and nephew, while another young nephew was shifted to hospital with multiple bullet injuries.

The incident of bloodshed occurred on property dispute late Monday night when the targeted family was sleeping in their home. The police have registered the first information report (FIR) against the attacker on the complaint of Arsalan Ahmad, the other nephew of the shooter.

Arsalan Ahmad told the police in a written application that he opened the door when someone knocked at the door. I saw my real uncle Waqas Ahmad standing at the door who asked me to take him to my father Allah Bux Zulfiqar as he would pay two million rupees to him. As my father met him, he opened fire at him besides spraying bullets at the other members of the family targeting me, my father, mother, and younger brother – Allah Bux Zulfiqar, Ruqayya Bibi, and Zuhaib – causing their death on the spot while the locals of the area shifted me to the hospital.”

While a 15-year-old girl was kidnapped by unknown captors from Sohan falling in the jurisdiction of Koral Police Station.
