MoHR provides legal aid to 40,788 women

Islamabad: Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR) has provided legal aid to as many as 40,788 women under the Women Shelter Home program since 2018. According to the data provided by the Ministry of Human Rights on Monday, shelter homes were established to provide protection to the homeless women.
Further, the data revealed that 206 women were being provided medical facilities and 289 women facilitated with informal education. The data also showed that around 304 women were facilitated for skill development and vocational training, however, 35 women successfully achieved the process of reconciliation.
