Martyred constable laid to rest

MARDAN: The funeral prayer of a martyred constable Munir Khan was offered at the Police Lines Mardan.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan Range Yasin Farooq, Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Arif, SP Investigation Sanaullah Khan, Circle SDPOs and other police officers attended the funeral prayer.

It may be noted that head constable Israr was martyred and two policemen Munir and Mansoor were injured in a firing incident at Babuzai area in the limits of Katlang Police Station in Mardan.

The police officers placed bouquets on the coffin of the martyred cop. Later, the body of the cop was sent to his native village.
