SMIU offers admissions in BS, MS and PhD programmes

The Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) has started admissions for the fall semester 2021 in the BS, MS and PhD programmes.

According to the varsity, the candidates can fill and submit admission forms online till the closing date of August 11. The SMIU admissions office would remain open on working days from Monday till Friday in the working hours.

Admissions are being offered in various departments, including those of business administration and management sciences, media studies and communication, computer science, environmental sciences, software engineering, artificial intelligence, mathematics, accounting and finance, banking, entrepreneurship, development studies, and education for the BS programme. The MS programme is being offered in public administration, computer science, education, media studies, environmental science and mathematics.

Admissions are also open for PhD in computer science, media studies, artificial intelligence and mathematics, business administration and environmental sciences. It is the first time the varsity has started its PhD programme in environmental sciences.

The computer-based entry test will take place from August 13 till August 16 under strict Covid-19 SOPs on the varsity’s premises. The announcement of successful candidates will be displayed on August 27 and classes will commence on September 13.
