LAHORE:Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) has demanded the foolproof security for exam superintendents for transportation of exam papers.
In a press statement on Friday, PTU general secretary Rana Liaqat Ali also warned that if the security of the examination staff was not ensured, the teachers would be forced to boycott the examination duties.
About the recent incident, Rana Liaqat further said that the centre superintendent Amir Rashid saved the papers from burning while his motorbike was completely damaged. He said the superintendent should be compensated by the government. He also asked education ministers (both of schools and higher education) should also visit the said exam centre in Kahna Nau area in order to encourage the examination staff.
