LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) has announced plans to restore domestic gas/Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) supply to industrial and transport sectors from Tuesday.
According to SNGPL spokesperson, gas supply to the CNG and non-export industrial sector of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas will be restored from 8am today. Earlier, SNGPL stopped gas supply to general industries and CNG sector abruptly from July 17 for indefinite period. The move was aimed to divert natural gas to power generation with a view to meeting high summer demand of electricity in the country.
