Council demands reinstatement of head teacher in Mardan

MARDAN: Office-bearers of the Education Council Mardan on Saturday demanded the government to immediately restore the head teacher of a school and also conduct an inquiry against the district education officer (DEO) for alleged corruption and misuse of powers.
According to a press statement, an emergency meeting of the Education Council was held under the chairmanship of council president Ikram Bacha.
Speakers on the occasion said that the DEO sacked Naheed, head teacher of Government Girls Primary School Baricham, before the inquiry report. They demanded the immediate restoration of the head teacher.
