City markets to remain closed today

LAHORE : District Administration has announced that all city markets will remain closed on Sunday (today) and anyone violating this will be punished.

This was announced by Deputy Commissioner Lahore in a press statement issued here on Saturday night. He said as per the notification of NCOC all markets have to remain close on every Sunday. He said the district administration will implement the notification issued by NCOC and Punjab Government in this regard. He warned the traders to keep their shops closed today (Sunday). He added that district administration Lahore officials will ensure closure of shops as per NCOC’s notification.
