Islamic scholar Dr Mohsin passes away

LAHORE : World renowned Islamic scholar, translator of Holy Quran and Sahih Al-Bukhari in English, Dr Mohsin Khan passed away at 97 in Madina. His funeral prayers were offered at Masjid-e-Nabvi attended by large number of scholars, teachers and students of Madina University. Born in 1927 in Afghanistan, Dr Mohsin qualified in Chest Diseases from the University of Wales, UK and remained head of the Department of Health at Madina University for many years. At the peak of his career, he left medical profession and devoted all his life to studying Quran and Hadith.
