Tevta celebrates World Skills Day

LAHORE : Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) celebrated World Skills Day here Thursday. Punjab Minister for Commerce and Industries Mian Aslam Iqbal and Tevta Chairperson Ali Salman Siddique were the chief guests while Tevta COO Rai Manzoor Nasir and Zalmi Foundation (NGO) Chairman Muhammad Akram were also present. The office-bearers of first Tevta Alumni Association were also announced on the occasion. Ali Salman Siddique said that Tevta was going to collaborate with China Tang in term of CPEC and added that it would be a game-changer for the skills industry. Aslam Iqbal said Tevta was focusing on demand-driven courses, information technology and e-learning which were necessary to compete in the modern era.
