SUKKUR: The central leader of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi has charged the Sindh government of backing armed men of the Shahani clan who had attacked his house at Landyaun Jatoi, occupied his land and took away 50 cattles.

Addressing a press conference in district Naushahro Feroze on Tuesday, Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi demanded the government to get his bungalow and land evacuated from the criminals in Keti Landyaun Jatoi and recover the stolen cattle. He also accused the police of supporting the criminals instead of controlling the situation. He also demanded the DG Rangers, governor Sindh and IGP Sindh to provide him justice by returning his properties and cattle.

Acting on Jatoi’s complaint, SSP Dadu Aijaz Ahmed Sheikh summoned Sardar Chakar Khan Shahani at SSP office and directed him to evacuate Keti Landyaun Jatoi. Scores of Shahani tribals had attacked Keti Jatoi, occupying the bungalow of former federal minister Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi, alleging that Jatoi and GDA MPA Aqib Jatoi were behind the killing of their fellow tribals.
