1,100 dead chickens seized in Takht Bhai
MARDAN: The district administration and Food department arrested two poultry sellers and recovered 1,100 dead chickens here on Tuesday, said a communique.
The communique issued from the deputy commissioner’s office said that Assistant Food Controller Khalid Khan, Food Inspector Mohsin Nisar and Food Inspector Irfan Afridi took action against those selling dead chickens in different areas of Takht Bhai.
The team arrested two poultry sellers who were selling dead chickens. The administration recovered 1,100 dead chickens and registered a first information report against the arrested shopkeepers and sent them to jail.
Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Arif asked the people to inform the administration about such bad practices. He added that the Food Department would continue to take action against such people. The communication asked the people to inform the complaint cell at 09379230028 if they came to know about such people selling unhealthy food.
