Lahore’s cattle markets face problems after first monsoon rain

LAHORE: Citizens and animal sellers at cattle markets established at entry/exit points of the city faced inconveniences and difficulties after the first monsoon rain here on Monday. These markets turned into mini pools after the rain because the district administration did nothing to drain out the stagnant rainwater. After the rain, roads become slippery and muddy due to which it becomes impossible for the citizens to reach these markets on foot.
