Thalassemia child made cop for one day

PESHAWAR: A young thalassemia patient Shoaib Akhtar from Charsadda, who wanted to be a cop for a day, was accorded warm welcome at the Central Police Office on Monday.

District Police Officer of Charsadda Zaibullah Khan accompanied the 14-year-old Shoaib to Peshawar in his official car. A salute was presented to the child at the CPO.

Later, he met Inspector General of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari. The IGP play host to Shoaib and his father. He gave gifts to the child.
