Man abducted on July 7 rescued, kidnappers arrested

Police arrested two kidnappers and rescued their abducted victim from an Orangi Town locality on Saturday. A Pakistan Bazaar police official said the suspects had kidnapped Muqeem from a shop in Makhdoom Shah Colony on July 7.
Police said the man had been taken away in a Vigo, adding that his abductors had demanded ransom from his son Ahsan Ali, who filed a police complaint of the incident.
The official said that with the help of intelligence reports and CCTV camera footage, police arrested the kidnappers, Imtiaz Ali Butt and Naushad, and rescued their abducted victim, adding that the vehicle used in the abduction was also impounded.
