Islampura police book five lawyers including Advocate Hassan Niazi
LAHORE: Islampura police have registered a case against five lawyers including Advocate Hassan Niazi on various criminal charges for attempted murder.
The case (No. 1415/21) was registered under Sections 324, 354, 148,149, 506/B and 342 PPC on the complaint of Shahzadi Nargis, widow of former Balochistan Governor Nawab Akbar Bugti. As per FIR, she had approached the Sessions Court seeking interim bail in case No. 104/21 registered against her in the FIA. Her lawyer Ayaz Butt was also present there. Hassan Niazi used foul language against her and her ex-husband and subjected her companion Sana Manzoor and lawyer Ayaz Butt to torture in the court premises.
She further mentioned in the FIR that Hassan Niazi had already been involved in attack on Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and burning vehicles.
