Teachers in Charsadda hold protest demonstration
CHARSADDA: The activists of the All Teachers Coordination Council on Saturday staged a protest against the attack on three schoolteachers in the district a day earlier and demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators. Carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the incident and favour of their demands, the protesters gathered at the Farooq-e-Azam Chowk to stage the protest. District chairman of the association, Sarfaraz Khan, led the protesters. Teachers from across the district participated in the protest. The speakers condemned the incident and demanded the government to ensure security to the teachers. The three schoolteachers, Muhammad Adil, Zahir Shah and Sahib Gul, had been injured when unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on them in Prang area on Friday.
