Country’s future linked to renewable energy
PESHAWAR: Managing Director of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) KP Syed Sajjad Ali Shah has said that the future of the country depends on renewable energy, which can also generate employment opportunities, especially for the youth.
“Renewable Energy is playing a key role in creating a trained workforce to meet the needs of the market,” he said while
addressing a training workshop for young artisans on renewable energy and new products organized by Fronus.
On the occasion, Anwar Naveed, CEO of Fronus, Murtaza Memon, trainer, and Solar Fronus Engineer Syed Mohammad Abbas briefed the training participants about the new solar energy product.
Anwar Naveed said that 500 skilled workers from the province have been trained in solar inverters and new products.
He said that training has been provided which will not only introduce new solar projects across
the province and also increase business in the province but also create new day-to-day opportunities for the youth.
At the end of the training workshop, the special guest MD of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa TEVTA Syed Sajjad Ali Shah while talking to the media said that special attention is being given to renewable energy in the province, which is also creating employment opportunities.
However, the demand for a trained workforce in the market has also increased, so to meet this demand, young people should take advantage of “Fronus” style workshops to enhance their skills in renewable energy.
He said that TEVTA has introduced modern solar energy courses in the province, which are helping in developing a new workforce and these youngsters will go on to improve the economy of the province.
