PESHAWAR: The police arrested the alleged killer of a professor from Swat on Thursday.
Officials said the accused, Najibullah of Khyber district, had escaped to Swat after the murder of the professor in Hayatabad. The accused would be shifted to Peshawar on Friday, police officials said, adding, they were investigating the motive behind the murder.
Professor Mohammad Iqbal was shot dead by unidentified people in Hayatabad. His body was recovered a day after he left home in his car on Wednesday.
