Three injured in separate incidents

Three people were wounded in separate incidents in the city on Thursday. Kalri police said 30-year-old Nadeem, son of Salman, was stabbed with a knife during a clash in Agra Taj Colony in Lyari. He was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CKH) for medical treatment.

Police said they were investigating to ascertain what caused the clash. Separately, 35-year-old Mukhtar, son of Yasin, was wounded within the Saeedabad police remits. He was taken to the CHK.

Police said that the incident took place when some persons opened fire at him over unexplained reasons. Meanwhile, Sajid Ali, 25, was injured in firing in the Korangi area. He was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Police said that the incident took place when the man resisted a mugging bid.

Suicide

A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan a house in North Karachi. Responding to reports, cops from the Sir Syed police station and rescuers reached the property and transported the casualty to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the man was identified as 22-year-old Hamza, son of Salman.
