PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Khan Durrani Friday ordered comprehensive security plan for security of sensitive places.
Chairing a meeting about law and order at the Central Police Office (CPO) on Friday, the IGP directed the participants to visit the sensitive places in their jurisdiction and review the security plan there.
He directed the officers that in case of improper security arrangements make photos of it and issue 15 days warning for its redressal. “You have to see yourselves what are the security issues and what should be done,” he told the officials, adding that the report should be submitted to the CPO till January 10.
Additional IGPs Headquarters, Special Branch, Investigation, Commandant Elite Force, DIGs CTD, Operations, CCPO and all DPOs attended the meeting, said a communiqué. They were directed to carry out continued joint search and strike operations in collaboration with army in urban and rural areas by making a plan and format of six weeks. It was also directed on the occasion that during VIPs movement a proper plan should be worked out.
