Truck driver dies

A 60-year-old truck driver died under mysterious circumstances in the Kahna police limits on Friday.

Police said that Sadiq, a resident of Kasur, was driving a truck and stopped at a filling station. Suddenly, his condition deteriorated and he fell unconscious. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy, collected forensic evidence from crime scene and registered statements of eye-witnesses. 

FOUND DEAD: A 45-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Data Darbar police station on Friday.Police claimed that the man, yet to be identified, was an addict, who might have died of excessive use of drugs. Police shifted the body to morgue.

CTO: Lahore CTO said that City traffic police had taken action against 128,012 vehicles with unprescribed number plates and no number plates and 286,066 motorcyclists for not wearing helmets during the years 2015. Similarly, the police took action against 10,254 underage drivers during the years 2015.
