Bank timings for Wednesday

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan on Monday said the field offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP-BSC) and authorised branches of National Bank of Pakistan would observe extended banking hours till 8pm on June 30 to facilitate collection of government receipts, duties and taxes.

A special clearing has been arranged at 8pm on the same day by the National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (NIFT), a statement said. “All banks are, therefore, advised to keep their concerned branches open on June 30, 2021 (Wednesday) till such time that is necessary to facilitate the special clearing for government transactions by the NIFT,” the statement added.
